Lazy Hiker Brewing Company started brewing beer in Franklin, North Carolina, an untapped Western North Carolina town located 70 miles from the craft beer mecca of Asheville, North Carolina. The brewery is located just miles away from the infamous Appalachian Trail and many other glorious hiking spots. Thus, the good folks at Lazy Hiker decided to capitalize on their favorite pastime by making hiking culture the essence of their brand. The branding encourages its consumers to enjoy the downtime as much as the trail to get there. The can designs feature prominent sites along the Appalachian Trail, such as Wayah Bald and Wesser Bald, both near Franklin, NC.
